An Update from the AAPT | Annual Educational Event 2024
The LEEC team had a fantastic few days at the AEE conference for the Association of Anatomical Pathology Technology recently. The event was held at the Glasgow Village Hotel with a number of industry colleagues in attendance. The weekend was an opportunity to specifically enhance the professional development of APTs, mortuary assistants and other industry professionals.
This exhibition gave attendees an opportunity to discuss the latest products and understand how they are used in mortuaries.
The first presentation was held by Professor Michael Osborn, AAPT President from Imperial College who discussed fire and water deaths and the entire post-mortem process. The whole event covered a range of talks and topics including care after death guardians, medical murders and drug deaths in Glasgow and the role of the APT.
LEEC sales representatives Sally Hodgson & Charlotte Hevness were on hand to discuss the latest products and mortuary facility upgrades at our exhibition stand in the conference room.
If you'd like to hear more about our mortuary products please email sales@leec.co.uk for more information.
